Posted - 06/09/2006 : 08:14:18 Its official - he is back in the league. Maybe now we can finally put an end to the racism bs that he has been spouting off about all these years. I can guarantee he will not do with the Islanders what he did in Buffalo. A team led by Yashin will never win anything. |

Posted - 06/06/2006 : 09:27:11 I have heard a number of things:
- He was accused of not being able to get along with John Muckler and and Dominik Hasek.
- He turned down the Sabres one year offer.
- He was offered a job by Tampa GM Phil Esposito but turned it down because he didn't want to move his family.
- He sat and sulked instead of looking for a job in the AHL, CHL, etc. He expected another job in the NHL right away.
-His reasons for being blackballed by the league is because he is 'different'. (basically calling the league racist)
If I were the Canucks, I would stay away from Nolan.
