Posted - 06/15/2006 : 08:42:00 During yesterday's morning skate Ryan Smyth dug a coin out of centre ice at the RBC Center in Carolina. I guess the Hurricanes were trying to copy the 2002 team Canada buried Loonie trick. He said he saw it and thought one of his teammates might trip on it so he dug it out with his skate.
He should be more worried about his teammates tripping over that shoulder carpet of a haircut rather than an "American Loonie" nice Ryan, way to show that you not only look like an idiot but you actually are an idiot.
Apparantley another hole was drilled and the coin replaced.

Posted - 06/16/2006 : 07:49:59 He is a great player but I agree he can be a bit of a hoser sometimes. Did you here his interview after game 5? He sounded so much like a stereotypical Canadian that I couldn't stop laughing at him.
