Was Stevie Mason kissing on Kessel? Haha.
With the Western playoff race heating up more and more. If Mason does have to take time off does Columbus still make playoffs?

Posted - 02/02/2009 : 08:07:39 everyone is forgetting that leclaire is out for the season, so if Mason does go out, NO they do not have a stellar 3rd option as they are Wade Dubielewicz and Dan Lecosta. We will have to wait and see, but i say if Mason is out, so are their chances of making the playoffs. |

Posted - 02/02/2009 : 04:33:39 Mason being out for a time might not matter in terms of Columbus making the playoffs or not. I think you framed the question incorrectly, as currently (I know it's a tie basically, but still) Columbus is out of the playoff picture.
Will Mason being out hurt their chances of making it in the top eight? I don't think so, as they have LeClaire who is more than capable. But really, it's gonna be a coin toss as to who makes it and who doesn't . . .

Posted - 02/02/2009 : 02:30:31 i'm sure they will Columbus is a good team and they have two great goaltenders I'm positive Columbus will make the playoffs with Mason or not... I just wish Toronto could get either Mason or Leclaire before trade deadline |
