Posted - 07/12/2006 : 08:37:54 After being NHLPA president for the last 8 years, Trevor Linden stepped down yesterday. I understand there is a group of players calling for Saskin's resignation. I wonder if they were also pushing for Trevor to quit? I think he has been unfairly criticized by a lot of people. He had a hand in bringing the lockout to an end and I give him a ton of credit for that. The fans owe him a huge thank you.
