Hanley, we're all allowed to dream I supposed.

But before everybody gets their knickers in a knot, and I see verybody and their brother is saying they are up for sale, it is just being looked at. Gillette is just evaluating his assets. Nobody from anybody who would know has officially declared they are up for sale yet. And besides, the Habs are making money for him unlike that soccer team he owns, which is what is causing problems for him.

I think this would be a perfect opportunity for Jim Balsillie. It's not like the Board of Governor's and the NHL don't like the guy, they just didn't like his "moves" with the pontial purchase of Nashville.

Balsillie's style suits very well with Montreal. Huge hockey fan, loves the sport, and loves to succeed. Plus, it's already a Canadian team, so there won't be any red tape with the purchase.

I think the Gillette's have been great owners in Montreal, and I am not saying I think it would good to see them go. But if they did choose to sell, Balsillie would be more than a suitable candidate. Just not sure what kind of cash Balsillie has today and if RIM is stable enough to back a $350ish million purchase.

We will see.

lol, but seriously, the habs may sell but they arent moving so dont even start discussing that

There is no "I" in team, but there is an "M" and an "E".

that's sure, they might be sold but they will never leave Montreal
