I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see Marian Gaborik go to Washington. Think of how scary good a line with Ovechkin, Backstrom, and Gaborik would be? |

The only way Gaborik would come to Toronto is if he took a huge pay cut.
You forget that Burke was the guy who said "The Ducks will offer Getzlaf a fair contract for a player of his caliber, if he doesn't like it, he can go somewhere else". Do you really see him making a decision like Jr. or even Fletch would have made?

It's funny that someone mentions the New York Islanders, because I can't think of too many teams that would risk big bucks on a superstar who only plays half the season or less. But the Isles are one of them.
For me, it will be interesting to see what kind of a contract he can get . . . it would have to be lower despite his point production, and then laden with incentives for games played I would think.
