As you all know Mike Keenan was fired (thank god).
Who has the criteria to be the flames next coach?
And also possible assistants?
I believe Sutter will bring in Lowry as an assistant almost for sure.
As for Head Coaches...Scott Arniel, Pat Quinn, Jacques Lemaire??
Iginla for 2010 team captain.
Flames for cup...eventually. |

Carboneau would be a good fit, but I think Quinn would be perfect with the style of hockey the Flames play.
Still thinking Lowry though...

One thing is for sure Keenan is gone yes. Now for the new coach remours have gone around the last few days say the one of sutters brothers will come and coach mostly his bro down in NJ because he said he misses home. Now when Brent was looking for a job the flames asked him to coach. But if not Darryl will behind the bench agian. Now with romours flowing around the league that Jacques Lemaire might go coch the habs then that leaves many other coaches I think that
Guy Carbino would be a good fit after what he has done with the habs the last few years I dont think he should have been fired from the habs. But the flames have to clean house get rid of all the coaches and get new ones bring in Carbino as assitant and Quinn as head and find others but there are many coaches that would be a good fit in calgary. |

It certainly would be hilarious if they picked up Mac T!! I don't think Brent Sutter will have the chance to coach any other team next year other than the Devils because Lou Lamoriello would have something to say about it. We might see Darryl behind the bench again or Duane Sutter but I don't know if they want to have an "All in the Family" episode. Perhaps Ryan McGill or Dave Lowry.
