With all the money Chicago has tied up, what will happen next summer when they have to resign Toews, Kane and Keith.

The logical thing would be to move Campbell but that is easier said than done.

I believe they have ruined a great future.

Campbell, like Redden and Briere, is an immovable player unless the Hawks throw something very inticing to go along with him. Like the rights to Kane or Toews or something. Otherwise, they can only buy him out, but that won't happen until he is 34. The Hawks will soon look like the Rangers or Ottawa. An OK team struggling with the cap for the next 2 to 3 years and then buying out contracts or trading players merely on the basis of cap space rather than talent.

Hopefully Bowman can make some moves that will relieve him of his cap problems. Good luck to him.

Yea, looking like the Leafs under JFJ. Too many long term contracts, and too many players getting a little too much. Well, Campbell, way too much lol...

Next season will be an "all or nothing" season for the Hawks, and if they can't free up cap space fast to keep Kane and Toews as a 1-2 punch, 2010-2011 can be a long season for the team, and management.
