Posted - 09/14/2009 : 15:32:03 well, i was wondering what would happen to these guys. i was really surprised nobody had jumped on these guys earlier, especially sykora. sykora has been invited to try out at the minnesota wild training camp (im a little surprised its a tryout) and seidenberg has signed with florida on a 1 year 2.25 million dollar deal. i really think both these moves are good ones, and should really help both teams, what do u guys think |

Posted - 09/22/2009 : 20:16:29 I don't believe Sykora is done just yet. He's not going to have the potential he once had, during a season. But I still believe on a decent line he can produce 20-30 goals a season for a team.
Perhaps even as a second liner.

Posted - 09/15/2009 : 12:01:21 also alex seidenberg is coming off his best year statisticly and now that bouwmeester is gone in florida, seidenberg could log in alot of ice time, so he'll have the ice time, so i could see him having a strong year. he will also get quite some pp time, so u never no, he could have a breakout year, but i doubt that they will make the playoffs also. as for minnisotta, i think if sykora makes the team, he would have a shot to play with koivu and/or havlat. if they find chemistry together quick enough, it may be enough to somehow squeez into that 8th position in the west. |

Posted - 09/15/2009 : 01:24:25 sharksfan...i'm thinking the Seidenberg signing is good. Sykora, just have a feeling he could be done, but with the right guys, maybe not?
Seidenberg, for the team with the cap room and position for him, i think will be a good pickup. Not gonna get'em into the playoffs, but a good signing IMO. |
