That's definitely a mistake, the website calls yesterday's 1-0 shootoot defeat for Nabokov a shutout... the league doesn't though. This should be corrected.

Prior to the Shootout being brought in the game would have ended with tie and both would have been credited with a shutout. Don't think the rule changed since the tiebreaker Shootout had been applied. Wouldn't seem fair to current NHLer if the rules changed on this. If regulation ends and no goals let in the goalies stats should show a shutout.

Maybe both goalies are credited with the shutout. But there is no way both goalies should be credited with the win. Right now they are.

Both goalies let in 0 goals in 65 min of play. Nabokov lost in a shootout. Shoot out goals do not count against a goalies GAA or SAVE %. There for if it is 0-0 at the end of overtime, both goalies are credited with a shut out.

The league does count it as a shutout... Check on NHL.com.
Nabokov has 1 shutout

to make sure pickuphockey reads this :

In a couple of months when we will see the stats, people will see that Nabokov has one more shutout here than his real NHL stats. People will email pickup saying : ''there's a mistake Nabokov has one shutout too much''

it makes no sense.
