Posted - 12/18/2006 : 15:08:48 I was reading today that Sergei Fedorov might be on his way to Montreal. There has been a lot of talk that Montreal needs another Centre - who better to play with Kovalev and Samsonov?

Clearly not or else you'd be able to spell it
You know, for a team with so much history and fame it's surprising how often it's misspelled... |

Posted - 02/01/2007 : 18:59:31 I think the only thing Fedorov would do in Montreal is complete a line of under producing Russian players. Pretty pricy for $6 mill/year. |

Ya, but if they get Fedorov without losing a good chunk of their team, not trading away the future or not going above the salary cap, would be a great fit in between Samsonov and Kovalev. He is a player that has the creativity and skill to play with those two slumping superstars.

Posted - 12/18/2006 : 15:31:47 He is way overpaid. Habs maybe regretting the Ribeiro for Niinima trade? He is on the first line in Modano's absence and is doing great.
But I heard he was into hookers and blow - so maybe more of a headache than they were looking for. |

Yup i heard this too. I think the only problem would be Montreal's payroll which stits at roughly 42 million dollars. Fedorov is making 6 million, so there is a definite problem there. |
