Posted - 01/15/2007 : 08:51:24 The NHL trade deadline in February 27, at 3PM EST. Rumours of a Forsberg trade are rampant, so which team will Peter Forsberg be playing for after the deadline? |

If you wouldn’t take him for a playoff run if you are not one of the top three teams in either conference, you are a tool. If you are a team like Vancouver, with little to no Cup experience, you are a knob if you don’t want his leadership, talent, and experience in the dressing room. And I can only assume that “Canucks Man” is a Canucks fan. So, why dig at Forsberg for being less than a point a game guy when Vancouver doesn’t have a singe point a game guy? To say you wouldn’t want Forsberg when he and Naslund have played very well together in the past and give you options for a great second line?? Where’s your head at??
Beans there isn't one thing in that entire post I could disagree with. That is EXACTLY how I feel about Forsberg. If your team has a legitimate shot, it's worth the risk. Maybe if it's a long shot don't give up the farm but otherwise...DO IT! |

how about LeClair?

Pheonix...Anyone?
Even with their recent winning, I think Phoenix is a seller at the trade dealine, not a buyer. They're in the playoff hunt, but barely, and by then I think you will see an exodus of talent away from the 'yotes. |
