Posted - 02/20/2007 : 10:37:24 The price? Apparantley a 1st round pick and a prospect for each. That would be huge for St Louis, but I dont think they will get that much. I think there are other players out there, like Sturm, Modin, Carter, Etc, but they will not be picked up before Guerin and Tkachuk. The waiting game has begun and I think we will see the asking price drop the closer the deadline gets. St Louis wants to get somthing for these guys, so at some point they will have to go with the best offer available.
I would like to see the Canucks pick up Guerin, but not for a first rounder and a pick.

Posted - 02/20/2007 : 13:35:07 I am pretty sure that Guerin is going to be worth more than Tkachuk because he is better and has more skill. I agree with you pucker that they wont be sold for a first round pick but Guerin could be sold for someone decent.

Their cost is and will be just too expensive for Nonis to go there. I don't see the price coming down too low either, in fact it might go up as the deadline approaches....
Look for the Canucks to make a middle-road type aquisition... A Smolinski or something similar.
