Posted - 02/25/2007 : 15:16:02 Montreal Canadiens have traded D Craig Rivet and a future 5th round pick in exchange for D Josh Gorges of the San Jose Sharks and a 1st round pick in this years draft.
I think Montreal got the better end of the deal because not only did they get a good young defenseman but also a first round pick. But Rivet should be good for San Jose in the playoffs because he is a veteran.

Posted - 02/25/2007 : 16:41:55 I think it was a good fair trade.....Rivet has a good team to play with now and San Jose got a good player and Montreal gets a not as good player as Rivet but a 1st round draft pick....
