Posted - 05/23/2008 : 15:07:27 I think it's a good trade. But I think Calgary would want to get another good defenceman in return if they give up Phaneuf. Even if it's Hal Gill or Rob Scuderi, just to get some depth on defence. But I just don't see this trade happening. Calgary is building around Phaneuf and Iginla so what they are trying to do is get players to play around them.

Posted - 05/22/2008 : 21:55:14 It would be a good trade for Pittsburgh in my mind because Calgary doesn't need forwards they need defense and Pittsburgh doesn't need Forwards they need D. Good trade for both clubs but better trade for Pittsburgh hands down. |
