-Sportsnet reports that Brendan Morrison could be on his way to Ottawa in exchange for some help on defence. Volchenkov maybe? Last week it was Conroy rumored to Ottawa. Either way they are looking to get Alfredsson going and need a center.

-Eklund says Prucha to Rangers possibly for Brewer.

-Eklund is also mentioning talk of a Calgary trade involving Regher for some offensive help - and Possibly trading Iginla. PLEASE NOTE: Eklund is wrong 99% of the time and this rumor is really bad. No way Iginla leaves Calgary.

-From Satellite Hot Stove: Phoenix did inquire of the availability of San Jose Sharks netminder Evgeny Nabokov, but the asking price was defenseman Ed Jovanovski.

Morrison to Ottawa for a D-man? Insane.
I guess 2-3 goals a game is too much for Dave Nonis, and it's time to start playing some Minnesota Wild style hockey.
Maybe he can trade Naslund to Toronto for Kaberle too.

GM meetings are today and we could see some moves with Philly, Calgary, Boston, Ottawa all struggling. I agree that it would be a cold day in hell before the Flames trade Iginla.
