The rules are simple:
Anytime you want to exaggerate a score from the league, and really point it out to someone, you write: SCOREBOARD! and enter the score.
Example: Last Saturday night, any of us could have said:
Hey, IHC...SCOREBOARD! Pens 8, Leafs 2
Or Hey Oil Country....SCOREBOARD! Flames 4, Oilers 0 (It killed me to write that)
It comes from the best comeback ever used. Anyone who listens to Jim Rome has heard this one: You're winning the game, and a guy from the other team comes up and says "Hey, nice turnover back there", to which you reply: "Scoreboard", maybe add in a point towards it, and walk away.

I know, I know...man I can't believe that. It's embarassing But lemme say this: the only reason Buffalo lost is because they used Conklin and not Miller. Conklin sucks, but they wanted to keep Miller fresh for the playoffs instead of using him in a game that didn't matter. And by the way it was 4-3 not 5-4 |

Haha yeah I know I watched the game (well actually all three). As soon as Thornton took that penalty in OT, I knew the game was over. Oh well, I am actually happy they lost for the simple fact that it means that they will not meet in the first round of the playoffs.
I'm so sad that Colorado lost though, especially after the Oilers actually beat Calgary on the road, which is something that is mind-baffling. It would have made the Flames/Avs game today SOOOO intense. |

Well I won't speak for Babs about the Sharks, but the Canucks winning the division (and SJ finishing 2nd) really doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot. Well okay you do get home ice, but to me that's more important than "winning the division". You should be cheering for that instead, cause once you're in, it doesn't matter where you finish. |

I'm so happy the Blues beat the Stars, that uses up their game in hand on the Sharks. SJ is only 4 points back of the Ducks! Even though there are only 3 games left for both of them, they play each other once, so 1st in the Pacific is not out of the question for the Sharks! |
