With his track record of numerous back to back offences it is pretty clear that Chris Simon is not straighting up and flying right. Should he make history (against his own will of course) and be expelled as a player from the National Hockey League ?

Throw Fedoruk on the other wing and watch the other team hide in the corner.

You know what, he probably is on steroids, we shoudl tell Bettman to suspend him indefinitely, the guy if worse than what everybody thought of Bertuzzi at the time of that incident. He gets a major suspension once a year.

Ellis or Mason?

I'm not saying he is, or is not on steroids but it is normal for many 30 year olds to have acne. And his rage issues go back more than a couple years. That is an assumption that you can not prove so it's merely a guess, a possibility. Yes it's more possible than him menstruating but it's still a guess. The guy could just be more prone to fits of rage due to chemical imbalances in the head.

In the immortal words of one Sean Allen of ESPN

''Simon, Derek Boogaard and Todd Fedoruk? Are the Wild preparing for the Stanley Cup playoffs or the UFC?''

Habs get number 25 this year

EDIT: Can all the members who look at this join the PickUpHockey Cyber Cup? It only will take two minutes, I am trying to get participation from all the active members. All you need to do for now is read the intro and tell me you will join. Time is of the essence. Thanks guys, I know I can count on you

from everything i have heard, he is actually an amazingly nice guy. Every player that has played with him says that he is awesome in the dressroom. He is just super competitive and kinda loses it on the ice. I think he should take some serious counselling (which he is doing) and unless he can control his competiveness, he probably shouldn't be able to play hockey again. With that being said, however, i do not think that personal attacks should be made against the man. He has a problem, yes. But he is no worse of a person than anyone else. He does not plan to go out and hurt someone (like Marc Crawford/Bertuzzi/ Moore incident). He loses it in the heat of the battle. And i respect the man for admitting that he has a problem and trying to fix it.

He isn't that smart just back back from a 25 game suspension and then right away got a 30 game suspension. Like wow he needs some help and then maybe come back in the NHL.

Chris Simon is a big goon who doesn't know what it means to play hockey. He should go join UFC or something like that!
Guest4912 Posted - 01/23/2008 : 09:32:15
Chris simon is garbage, he's mpt even a good player. all he does is jepridise players careers.
Guest4912 Posted - 01/11/2008 : 07:59:34
yes there would be a spot for him, but either there is somthing wrong with him or he just doesnt care with back to back suspensinons. the way he has displayed himself latly i would say that no one is gunna want him back
hockster Posted - 01/10/2008 : 19:05:37
LOL
HARSH
Yeah i guess he never will play the way he did then again.
he is to wild i guess
If he played that kinda hockey he played with the flames there would be a spot for him
irvine Posted - 01/10/2008 : 18:59:15
My answer is simple regarding Chris Simon.

There is no place for him in the NHL.

I dont no
If you could get him to play the type of hockey he played when he was in calgary i would.
He played extremely well for a player of his caliber and his role.
Guest4912 Posted - 01/10/2008 : 10:25:05
if i had a team in the nhl i wouldnt want that clown on my team he would just bring the team down
PuckNuts Posted - 01/10/2008 : 10:21:30
Well he got a 30 day suspension for his last escapade.

You may as well consider it a life suspension. He may be back but I doubt it. He is 36 at the end of this month, and what he has to offer to the game has diminished. He is a UFA at the end of the season, and at the league minimum salary I believe that there is not a team in the league that will be interested in his services...

thank you for clearing that up puck nutz i thought that there was some one supended for life but i counldnt put my finger on who it was my mistake i still think he should be thrown out for life what do you guys think ?
PuckNuts Posted - 01/10/2008 : 08:50:39
I am not sure why he would make history, as he would not be the first NHL player to be expelled from the NHL for life.

This distinction belongs to Billy Coutu.

In the 1927 playoffs Coutu struck official Jerry Laflamme that started a brawl. He was suspeded for life at the time.

He was re-enstated two years later so he could play in the minors, but he never played in the NHL again...
