I have a lot of respect for the Ottawa Senators organization, but seriously, they say they want their goalies to work into a grove and then they switch them up every game. In the playoffs, they will pay the price. Honestly, when Gerber's game started going sour, that was a hint to start Emery, the guy you jsut offered a new contract.
I can't blame Emery for being upset with the organization, when you get a 3 million dollar raise, you expect to play more than 40 games. The sens are ruining a perfectly good young goalie.
Gerber isn't as young as Emery and he doesn't have the consistency to be a starter. Emery has stolen the job away from a future hall of fame goalie and a goalie with a great background two years in a row, if that isn't enough evidence that a player is ready to play full-time, I don't know what is. I think if Muckler were behind the bench right now, ottawa would have a bigger lead in the eastern conference race right now.
Right now, the sens are in a tight spot. Once they overcame that 7 game losing streak at the beginning of the season, they should've thought about what they were going to do. If they make the wrong move right now, they won'tmake the conference finals.

Nash you are dead on. However I think at this point it is not Emery who deserves the starts it is Gerber. But deserve or not deserve, they have enough of a cushion to play Emery and get him back to last year's form. It is hard to think like that, but thinking outside the box wins championships, and I dont see a cup in the Nation's Capital this year.
