I was looking at goalie stats today and was surprised at how good Dan Ellis was doing this year:
36GP 19 - 9 - 2 920SV% 2.40GAA
Then I looked at Chris Mason's stats:
47GP 17 - 20 - 6 899SV% 2.94GAA
My question is WHY has Mason played more games than Ellis?
Also if Ellis played the majority of the Preds games would they be in the playoffs now? |

Other than in November, the playing time was close, but in Mason's favour until March when Ellis became the starter.

mason played more games becauese he started early in the season and over half way through they put ellisin an he did better so they kept going with him
no ellis wouldnt have made a diference |
