Last year on this site, it just had one input field for plus/minus, now it has two:

Plus/Minus: Plus
Plus/Minus: Minus

Do I need to actually specifiy that I want negative points for Minus by putting in "-1" or will putting in a "1" for the minus field take care of that?

Input a positive value into both if you wish. The system will add if it is in the plus field, and subtract if it is in the minus field.
