i really like the dallas stars and i wat them to do really well so i think that they should get some new fresh players jere lehtinin mike modano, sergi zubov , eric lindros, they all have under 20 points! if it wasnt for marty turco then they would be doing brutal they should get some new fresh players or trade some players that have been playin to long or demanding to much money
does anyone agree?? |

Haha Beans, fair enough. I listened to the game on the radio cause heaven forbid we get the game out in NS, but it sounds like they deserved that loss. They just came off a 5-day break and well of all teams to play against, they play against a team that owns them. I think they said Turco is something like 14-3-3 lifetime against SJ.
Another reason they should play Jokinen more is that he's in my pool  |

Don't forget that Modano, Lindros, and Morrow were all injured at different times this year. Considering the fact that Modano and Morrow have missed 8 and 9 games respectivly, they are doing pretty well. Didn't the just shutout the leagues 3th best team thier last games??

At the start of the year I said that the move to take the C away from Modano is wrong. However, they are playing very well this year in a division with the 1st and 3rd ranked teams in the league.
If this would have happened 3 or more years ago, Modano would have been gone. But he has never played for anyone else and wants to retire there. Anyone that expects to see Modano in a different Jersey is dreaming.
And Babs I agree, why they do play Jokinen more is beyond me. He is a talent that needs to be used! |

Morrow may be a better leader, but it was wrong of Dallas managment to take the C away from Modano. As for the origainl question; Zubov is starting to put points up. Lehtinen may not be scoring goals, but he's big defensive presence. Mondano has no excuse. As for Lindros.........Well I think Admin put it best. |

Morrow is captain, Modano has already been stripped of the "C". I think Modano is still a capable player, but not for much longer. |

I think they are doing pretty well and are in a playoff spot. Plus, they won a cup not too long ago with these guys. Lehtinen is a great defensive player who can also score. Zubov is struggling but will come around. Lindros was a cheap acquisition.
Maybe after thsi season they could consider changing the face of the team. Morrow is now captain and might be time for Modano to move on. What are your thoughts on Morrow being 'C'?
