Lumbomir Visnovsky Rob Blake Tom Preissing Brad Stuart Jaroslav Modry Young gun Jack Johnson
And they could re sign Jamie Heward and Aaron Miller.
I think they now have one of the best defence in the league. Up there with Calgary and Ottawa.
And this year LA's PP will be good because think of it Visnovsky, Pressing, Frolov,Cammelari, Kopitar and the other unit has Handzus,Nagy, Calder and Blake and Modry on the points.
LA's gonna have a turn around year, they just need to pick up a goaltender and they should be ready. David Aebesisher is still out there. |

Beans do they have enough cap room for him? |

Posted - 07/04/2007 : 14:48:53 LA has definately made some strong moves to improve their team. Still not the cream of the Pacific, but I think they have moved ahead of Dallas into third behind San Jose and Anahiem.
Biggest question mark is goaltending. Cloutier is not an elite goalie.
Play off contender, fighting for between 6th and 8th. Not much more than that.

Posted - 07/04/2007 : 12:34:15 I'm happy for the Kings. I was born in LA, so I gotta root for them at least a little. Their new defense will lift them out of last in the West and maybe they'll even be a playoff contender. |

Posted - 07/04/2007 : 11:46:08 I'm happy since I root for them along with leafs and sharks(which will change if theuy trade marleau!!). I was frustrated with LA the last two seasons and I'm sure September will be a great time for them. |
