Posted - 11/18/2007 : 08:12:27 He wasn't put on the waivers cause he's no good, Burke promised him that he would put him there. Burke said they were looking to stick with Giguere and their young goalie... hiller I believe, and that if Bryzgalov wasn't going to get games, he'd put him on waivers to ensure he got moved and started playing. It was a nice thing to do, they probably wouldn't have been able to get rid of him for a little while if trying to trade him, and would have meant he was just benched. |

Posted - 11/18/2007 : 01:23:44 Honestly, if I were a GM with a goaltending issue at this time in the season I'd take Bryzgalov aswell. He played well for the Ducks last year, including the five games in the playoffs.
He's a good goaltender.

Posted - 11/17/2007 : 10:40:57 I noticed that Bryzgalov was placed on waivers. I was hoping Phoenix and Washington would pass on him so Edmonton could take him. |
