could someone tell me where to find a legend of some sort, something that shows how the points are awarded?

If you are logged into you pool just click on the link on the left that says "pool settings"

And yes, the best way to get answers is to email support @ pickuphockey.com

For a quick response email the admin at pickuphockey, support@pickuphockey.com

Also, check the FAQ. If you are the Pool GM, you should be able to use settings to see.

If you are not the GM ask your GM how the points are awarded.
