Posted - 02/28/2011 : 06:03:22 I've been just devasted by injuries this year. At one point, i went over a month with 8 of my 18 players on IR. I'm finally relatively healthy again, although my top 2 picks remain on the sidelines, Evgeni Malkin & Zach Parise.
Needless to say, it's been a struggle. I sat dead last in my 12 team pool for quite a while, but have been making somewhat of a late season surge...currently sitting in 6th thanks to my mid-round Philly picks of Giroux, Briere & Richards. Still not sure if i have enough time to most up to the money (top 3).
At least my fantasy team was been panning out better for me, have been in 1st for the last month. |

Posted - 02/28/2011 : 05:38:01 He killed me this year, I drafted him 7th overall (my pool is heavily weighted for goal scoring), my first pick. It's a keeper pool though, so when he comes back, I will be watching him closely to see if he is still a keeper.

Posted - 02/28/2011 : 05:03:59 It was a good pick, particularly since he's on a contract year... It just didn't turn out right.
There's always lots of luck involved in a season-long pool. |

Posted - 02/27/2011 : 18:12:53 I just read an article about how the Devils best option at tomorrows deadline might be to stand pat...and at the bottom it mentioned something about him possbily getting medical clearance to start skating on Wednesday.
I took Parise in the 2nd round in my pool. |
