Hey all,
Welcome to the registration for the 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs Pickup Hockey Pool, or "scufp" as I'm going to call it for short. I will take as many participants as can participate, but make sure that by signing up for an allotted time, you are committing yourself to being available at that time and for possibly a couple hours afterwards. There are three times to pick from, so hopefully at least one can satisfy everyone. Please note that if you cannot commit, then please do not register, as no one will like someone to slow down the draft. We will only have a couple days to finish them so we will need them to roll as quickly as possible.
Registration will close one week from tonight, Tuesday March 20th at midnight Atlantic time. After then, I will split up the participants so as to create draft groups. After this, more details about the draft will be available.
Upon registering, state at which of the following three times you would like to participate:
(All on Monday, April 9th): 8PM Pacific, 8PM Central or 8PM Atlantic.
I will be the first to register for an 8PM Central draft. |

Here are the goalies that will be playing (someone correct me if they've heard anything I haven't heard):
In order of their seeding:
Hasek, Giguere, Luongo, Vokoun, Nabokov, Turco, Backstrom, Kiprusoff
Miller, Brodeur, Lehtonen, Emery, Fleury, Lundqvist, Holmqvist, Raycroft/Dubielewicz
In here Babs says that Giguere is starting, The reason I picked him in my Central Draft. Is there any possibility that I could maybe trade him in for Bryzgalov since he is starting? |

I would also like to ask of ALL poolies to please check in often tonight. This was the night I asked everyone to allow a couple hours for and going based on the fact that the Pacific draft is almost halfway done already and the scheduled start time hasn't even come yet, I think that if everyone collaborates this could be done tonight.

Sorry OIL, but everyone that signed up for the pools has showed up. Be sure to check in for the next regular season though as I'm sure we will have another pool and we'd love to have you!
A request was made for a draft sheet. I uploaded one for all the drafts (that includes the GOAT one as well, just ignore it) that is up-to-date as of 6ET. It's under the same name as the one I did for the GOAT draft, here's the link:

How about this, if someone doesn't confirm or sign in by the time already assigned, would you want to take their place? There are a couple who still haven't confirmed their involvement, but they still have until tomorrow night. If someone fails to confirm, I could replace them with you. Would that be alright? Like I said, the times don't really matter anymore so you could join in on any draft that's missing a player.
What do you think? |

Atlantic: +1
Newf: +1:30

THG, you can sign up for any of the three, doesn't matter where you live. Whichever time of day would be most convenient for you, sign up for it. |

Well if you want to find out "who we all got", just read the thread from the beginning. So far we only have 14 participants (4 Pacific, 5 Central, 5 Atlantic). C'mon guys, I was hoping for at least a 6-6-6 ( ). About 5 more hours! |
