Who is a better deal, Jordan Staal or Martin Havlat? In my pool, goals are worth double points then assists (2:1) and there are no plus/minus or penalty minutes. Also powerplay points and shorthanded points are worth more.

I'd choose Staal.

With Malkin's injury, he's bumped up a line and sees more time on the PP. He's also on a much better team with a better supporting cast, and he's excellent on the PK.

Havlat is an enigma. He's had one great seasons, and a bunch more plagued by injury. He's on a new team, and this just in, they suck, but does even that excuse his slow start?
