Hey guys,

Bruins goalie Tim Thomas lost last night (Thursday, Nov 12) to the Florida panthers, 1-0.
But Thomas was awarded points for the shut out.
Have a look.

Thanks.

why should we move along HawkinOilCountry, they should be consistent with points or not host a site like this. Nabokov gets 5 points for a shootout loss and Thomas doesn't, that is 5 big points. You should be credited for an idiotic comment in this thread!

it shoud get corrected because nabokov had a 1-0 shootout loss earlier in the season and it still counts now. so either take that off his total (the guy behind me has him) or give thomas his extra points back

There's nothing to fix. Move along.

The arena wall in chicago should be credited with a goal.

Is this ever going to get corrected or what, it's been days now!

yes. i was suppose to get 5 extra points from thomas it was 25 now its 20 =|

Good point... NHL shows he has 3 shutouts... but my points here only show 2. It's true that if there's no score after regulation and overtime, it's counted as a shutout. The only other points from there are for a win or a loss in the shootout, but the SHUTOUT still stands. Hopefully, the site admins catch this... Thanks...

I think they removed the points for this shutout. wtf?

Not sure why this is so confusing every time there's a 0-0 game which ends 1-0 in a shootout.

Shootout goals don't count for the scorer, nor do they count against the goalies. Once OT is done and it's still 0-0, BOTH goalies receive shutouts!

yes this is the correct stats for these games. I think this gets brought up every time there is a 0-0 score that goes to the shootout.
