Posted - 12/31/2006 : 19:53:47 Well another flip in the northwest has Calgary in first place again with 2 games in hand over most the others.
Calgary now sits in 12 place in the league with 1 to 4 games in hand over all the teams except Boston.
They seem to have found the scoring touch finally. If Kipper could steal a game or two and get that confidence back I think they would be on top in the Northwest for good. |

You say that about all the teams except the Oilers. What a great analysis. |

Posted - 11/17/2006 : 18:14:52 I disagree, They were off to a slow start but Tanguay, Amonte, Iginla, Phaneuf, Langkow, Friesen, Lombardi and Kipper are all clicking now. I think you'll see a better team moving into the second quarter of the season. |

Posted - 11/17/2006 : 17:21:37 The Falmes are completely overrated. They had their one year and that was it. They have lots of people who can step up and carry the team, but only two of them are. (Kipper and Phaneuf). I think they will come in 7th or 8th if they even make the playoffs at all. |

Posted - 10/07/2006 : 11:21:18 I agree. I don't know if they will make it third in the west. Kipper is an amazing goaltender, there is no doubtin that. But will Tanguay really help the Flames out as much as they want him to? There scoring will improve, but it won't be enough. |

Posted - 10/03/2006 : 11:12:26 I think the Flames are a bit overrated. I think they will make the playoffs, but their scoring must improve. You can only ride a goalie for so long. Remember Buffalo when Hasek led them all those years. Things never really panned out there.
