Posted - 10/17/2006 : 15:50:01 Well well well. It seems there is no longer any Wild bashing going on in the forums. Tough to bash a first place team eh? Not to mention its the toughtest division in the league. Finally ownership has decided to spend on some goal scoring talent and the best line in hockey: Demitra, Gaborik, Rolston. Playoffs baby!

Posted - 11/06/2006 : 18:01:35 They have the most genius jerseys in the league. There's nothing quite like a visual double-entendre to emulate the Wild. |

Posted - 11/06/2006 : 17:47:51 The team is pretty impressive. They've build this team up over the last couple years. And with a couple key acquisitions they have matured into contenders. I agree with Pucker though, THEIR JERSEYS SUCK HARD!

Posted - 10/23/2006 : 16:53:00 Oh come on... It's not one defeat to Minnesota that will stop the Sharks from winning the Cup. They still have the best 1-2 goalie tandem and the best top two lines in the league.
Well that's what happens when the top line is shut down. Thornton and Cheechoo really have to wake up. The fact that Nabokov is so inconsistent allows for some teams, like Minnesota in this case, to step all over them.
Lets just see how they do without Gaborik for a while. I hope he comes back though, he's in my pool.

Posted - 10/23/2006 : 09:09:39 Now this is what I am talking about. Finally some people on this forum with some hockey sense. Or are you just jumping on the Wild Wagon? Just kidding. Did you guys see the domination of the Mighty Sharks? Love it. Every year some chump on ESPN or TSN pick the Sharks to win the cup. Wrong again.

Posted - 10/20/2006 : 16:43:06 Every dog gets his day? Finally the post-Roloson Wild can move on and win some games. As Roloson took full advantage of leaving Minnesota, so has Fernandez. Boy did Roloson drag that team down last year. Minnesota, post-Roloson, have no excuse not to win their division and do some great things in the Playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised to see this team in at least the West Final, as long as their Superstar Slovaks stay healthy.

Posted - 10/20/2006 : 14:54:09 Evey dog gets his day. The Wild are playing great but I agree that the Northwest aint what it used to be. Sure they might make the playoffs but there Jerseys still suck.

Posted - 10/20/2006 : 13:59:47 I can't belive the way their playing. But also the Northwest is not as tough as it used to be. Colorado & Vancouver arn't playing well now. Calgary has shat the bed & I don't think they will even be a contender this year. but I prefer Minnesota to be better the Calgary. It's still early but you can't get much better than unbeaten. Glad I picked Frenandez in my pool. |
