Well the canucks finally have their goalie but where is the offence now since bertuzzis gone. They need to make a trade nowwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!! otherwise they will end up winging the whole rest of the season |

Oh Well a 7 game winning streak has to end sometime. Plus Minnesota looks great with Gaborik back. Thats all we need is a tighter NW division. |

Luongo needs to step up and steal some games for Vancouver. Canada's western trio (Roloson, Kiprusoff and Luongo) have not done much of that this year, when everyone thought they were going to. It will be the first goalie to truly step up whose team will win the division.
Luongo needs to shave off about 0.5 goals against per game. Making that extra save every other game will make the difference in this division. Also if Naslund ever decides to pull his head from his ass, then the Canucks might even make the playoffs.

Ok heres the deal with my Canucks. Last seasons team was a mess. They needed a major overhaul and got it. Nonis made some big changes. Some good - Luongo and Mitchell along with the arrival of Bieksa have bolstered the defense & Pyatt is decent for his price. And some not so good - signing Bulis, Chouinard, Kesler, and not signing Carter.
Right now they are doing about as well as most of us Canucks fans expected. to ask "Should we get new players?" - well of course if it will make the team better.
Right now the Canucks are bouncing back and forth between first and last in the division. It is too soon to pack it in and sell off assets. I think that if Vancouver all of a sudden tanks, then guys like Salo, Morrision, Naslund, Cooke should be dealt. If we keep winning and the playoffs seem like a reality, then we add a bonified scorer and see what happens.

I wouldnt say they are terrible, but they sure are not playing as well as advertised. However, if they are "terrible" then the NW division is "terrible". In the NW any team who can peak in the next month or so will be dangerous come playoff time and sadly enough the Canucks are right in the thick of playing "terrilble" |
