I hate that Ryan Kesler is injured. He was a big part of the canucks on penalty kill and shootout.

Get Better kesler

Go Canucks

Kesler has been a disappointment, at least on the offensive side of things.
He's a great skater and tenacious checker, but he has got to improve
things with the puck and start scoring a few more goals. He's not been
written off yet as he's still young and has some time to develop.. Let's
hope he can develop to his obvious potential..

Yes Kesler being placed on the long term injured reserve, plus the waiving of Marc Chouinard made it possible to bring in Sopel and Smolinski.

To me, Ryan Kesler has been a MAJOR disapointment. He is scheduled to return in the first round of the playoffs and while he might be an upgrade over Bulis on the third line with Naslund and Smolinski, that is nothing to be proud of.
