Posted - 07/04/2006 : 08:03:25 Big move by the Canucks. With Jovo going to play for Gretzky in Phoenix, they needed to get another top d-man and MItchell fills in nicely. He may not be as offensively gifted as Jovo but he also won't make the stupid risky moves either.
Luongo + Mitchell = 10 million and little hope of signing Carter. Apparantly they are about a million apart. I say let him go to the Leafs. Does he really think he will have any success playing on their second line? He had a career year with the Sedins and is an idiot if he leaves Vancouver.

Posted - 07/06/2006 : 08:26:48 Let Carter go to Toronto. He had a good year but he is not worth $3 million. What happens if he flakes out like he has in the past and the Canucks are stuck with his salary? Take the $2 million that they were going to pay him and bring in someone else.
