Jarkko is one of those players you love to have on your team, and although he does take dumb penalties, 75% of the time he's taking someone else with him... plus, he's got a sweet penalty shot move ;)

Jarkko seems like a pretty tough player. In the Olympics he checked Jagr into the wall so hard he needed stiches on his head. And this wasn't just any player, this was JAGR--a 230-pound 6 foot-2" winger. He's pretty hard to check like that, but Ruutu did it. |

Ruutu would have got his a$$ kicked by Phaneuf. He is a cheap player and a disgrace. Canucks fans should be happy he is now in Pittsburgh. Why would the Penguins want him? The only reason I can think of is last season when the Penguins coach called out his players. With Ruutu he has a guy that will do stupid things when you tell him to. I guess he will try to take away some of the attention that Crosby gets from the other team.. |
