Bill Guerin is now the captain of the New York Islanders.

He will be replacing the shi** captain of Yashin. This is a good turn around for the Islanders. Ted Nolan can make Fedetenko and Comrie find their potential and Guerin will be a great leader and player on the Isles.

Awesome news for the Isles. They'll be much better this year with the new UFAs and a captain who actually cares about the game.
