Posted - 01/20/2011 : 15:24:03 In a straight up points pool, no i wouldn't take Pronger (at least not in the pools i go in every year where theres about 12-15 of us & we take 15 players each).
This was on my yahoo fantasy team though where it's a head-to-head league and virtually ever stat counts & is important...goals, assists, PIM, +/-, PP, SH, etc etc...and you dress 4 defensemen a night. |

THis is because he'll see so much ice time in the playoffs that he's bound to get some points. With only 15 points in 31 games thus far this season, he's not all that valuable.
*His value would obviously also go up depending on the pool (if pim's were included for eg.) but for a straight up points pool he's not that valuable. Other factors could influence his value too of course. He'd likely be valuable if there's 25 teams picking 15 players each. |

Posted - 01/20/2011 : 13:02:04 I picked him up on waivers in my fantasy league about a month ago & put him on IR...glad to add him to the roster, but now i have to figure out what defensemen to drop. |
