I rather go with a guy like Budaj, than Takarski and certainly before Dubnyk. Not saying Budaj's great by any stretch, but at least he is a know quality and Dubnyks struggles this season are well known.

Kelly Hrudy ( i think it was him?) was not impressed with Therrien's pick of Tokarski as the goalie to go with. His opinion was that putting a guy like that in with just 10 NHL games to his credit could ruin a young goalie? I understand why Therrien went with him and don't have a problem with it personally. I think everyone is made up differently and if he's the kind of person who Therrien feels would be up to the challenge regardless of the outcome (and didn't feel it'd ruin him?), why not roll the dice and see if he can find some magic? Budaj's done nothing over his career to be anything more than an average goalie / backup. |

this is a tough choice for Therrien but you completely snubbed Budja and I dont see how you go back to him now,,,,,,, I think you have to roll with Torkarski
