Who do you think was the best out of the three most recent goalies for the Toronto Maple Leafs?

I think Raycroft by far....

Felix Potvin is not on that list....what about bringing the team to back to back conference finals, and in his first playoof appearance getting 5 shutouts...c'mon folks.......He was also nominated for a vezina trophy..The Cat allll the way

Felix Potvin, when he was here!
Buddyno2000 Posted - 04/12/2007 : 10:08:24
yep the Cat him self thats who was the best.

Curtis Joseph won us how many cups...NONE

Felix Potvin was the best and we let him go for a goalie that had never won it big in the playoffs...ya Joseph...

Raycroft has been pretty weak so far.

Belfour actually had two pretty decent years in T.O., and he mostly behaved himself during his stay, surprisingly.

CuJo, always great under pressure, put up only average numbers.

Sadly i'd have to go with Belfour, if forced to pick among those three.

Cujo was the best in my opinion, he was a real game saver. And he played amazing in the playoffs.

When Belfour played for the leafs he was really good.

I'm Pickin' Eddie the "fighting" Eagle Belfour.......lol

To tell you the truth, I felt the most comfortable when Belfour was in net for the leafs as opposed to Cujo or that waste of sperm Raycroft!!!!!

You can always tell a true Leafs fan...

By the way it is Johnny Bower...

Out of those choices I say it has got to be Ed Belfour. That guy could stand on his head to make te stop. Let's just forget about last year though.

Long Live Leafs Nation!!

Surely including Raycroft in here is meant as a joke? You could go back twenty years and have a hard time finding a worse number one the Leafs have had. Comparing him to Joseph and Belfour is almost insulting to those two; they were both elite level goalies who single handedly won games, Raycroft is a very mediocre goalie who is routinely outplayed by the opposition's goaltender.

Seriously? Raycroft? He's not even in the same league as Joseph or Belfour. I'd rate him far below Felix Potvin as well. Joseph and Belfour frequently won games the Leafs had no business being in. At his best Raycroft doesn't lose them games they should win. In my opinion Raycroft is a very, very average goalie at best.

Gotta be Belfour. He's not so great now but back when he was on the Leafs he was great.

Belfour...Ottawa vs Toronto playoffs 03-04(I'm pretty sure) If that wasn't stellar I don't know what is.
semin-rules Posted - 02/16/2007 : 05:22:18
Yeah I'm talking about when he was a Leaf who was the best.....

Belfour is one of the best goalies in the past 15 years... Not now but taking all those years into account...
