neither will help the team that they have now trade them for proven players ready to go. |

Admittedly I knew very little about Horvat pre-draft (I didn't look at much in the top 20 thinking VAN would not be picking there), but from what I've read, I'm pretty high on him. Solid 2-way centre, has size and skill, has leadership skills. In the back of my mind, I'm thinking "Hodgson v2", and it sounds like he could be a Kesler-style player in the years to come.
Sinkaruk - I'm not sure. He was picked way lower than he was ranked - on the one hand good steal, on the other hand what did 15 other GM's that overlooked him know that Gillis does not? Lots of skill, but lacking size. Trust VAN to once again draft the little guy...
I don't expect either one to make the NHL next year. |
