you have regulation wins , overtime wins as stat categories

if the game goes to a shootout --where does that slotted into as far as the type of ''win'' .....overtime?

Hey guys, Yes this year we added OT wins to the mix and that made the situation very confusing. You're not the first to point that out to us so tomorrow we'll organize it on the set up page better. Sorry about that.

Please add the point into every situation that you want to receive. SO if you want to get 2 points for an OT win, then put in 2 points.

THE ONE EXCEPTION is the SHUT OUT. That is a bonus point...so +Xpoints.

Like I said we'll clean it up tomorrow morning and it will make better sense. Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry I thought you were talking about the NHL stats...

I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I want my pool set up so that goalies get 2 points for any type of a win .

If I set it up at 2 pts for regulation win and 2 pts for a o'time win what happens when it goes to shootout

very confusing

last year when I set up my pool using this service for skaters I put 1 pt for a goal , 1 pt for an assist

3 weeks into the season I realized that something wasnt adding up and some of my poolies were wondering why their points were off

I was supposed to put 1 pt for ppg ,1 for shg , 1 for goal

all I did was put 1 pt for a g , 1 pt for an assist assuming a goal was a goal etc..

I'm just trying to avoid confusiion and belly aching from poolies who thought I was trying to screw them over last year

the goalie stat section offers regulation wins and overtime wins

if it was as easy as a win is a win I'd agree with ya bud --but such is not the case

hence my wonderment as to what a shootout win is put under --regulation ? or overtime

A win is a win no matter when it happens, regulation, Overtime, or shootout.

Losses on the other hand are tracked as regulation losses, or OT losses, and they include shootouts...

I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.
