Hi Leigh or whoever reads this:

One idea that I had for the site I never did was the addition of ice time for sale. Say you have a team that practices every Sat night at XYZ arena. They have a game scheduled on a particular Sat. They therefore cannot use the ice they have contracted.

In Detroit, the normal thing to do is post it in the rink on the bulleton board. I've always thought the audience and potential "buyer" of the ice for sale might be better online. Any thoughts on adding this feature to your database?

One note - just have it expire and deleted automatically when the ice time has passed - sold or not it is no longer an option.

Anyone else think this has value?

Frank

Found one - someone here in my hometown had the same idea- I saw the flyer in an ice rink at my Son's hockey game.

http://www.iceonsale.com - It looks like he is also just starting out. I wish you all luck and wish I had time to devote to my site!

Hey Frank.

I think it's a good idea. Probably not too difficult to put up either. Do you think there would be a real need for it though? What does everyone think?
