Alexander Ovechkin can shoot pass, skate, score, hit, he does it all. and what made me respect this guy even more was after his hit on Jamie Heward. He was there trying to help him out. He almost threw-up. He doesn't go out on the ice to injure and to play dirty.
"I didn't want to hit him hard," Ovechkin said to the Washington Post. "It was [an] accident and I'm very sorry.
"I never want to hurt somebody. It's hard for me. He was my teammate and I know him well. I hope he is okay."
What a good sport this guy is. |

I'm a big fan of Ovechkin and this incident reitterated why I am such a big fan of his. A very classy act and he has gained my utmost respect. My regards go out to Jamie Heward and I hope he comes back soon.
