Posted - 12/20/2006 : 11:24:56 I, along with everyone else, made fun of the Islanders for their decisions over the summer. From the 15 year Dipietro contract, to the Garth Snow hiring, Lafontaine leaving, Wang being a Wang etc.
But look at this team's record. 17-12-3 and seventh in the East. Nolan has Yashin scoring again and Dipietro is playing pretty solid. Super underacheiver Viktor Kozlov is having a great year and there is no sign of them slowing down.
Have to give credit where credit is due. |
