Prior to the season, yes, they were my pick to win the 2010 Stanley Cup. Prior to the playoffs though? Not a chance.
While looking back my Flyer pick looks like a good one...my pick to face the Flyers in the SCF, not so much. Before the 09/10 season started, i predicted a Philadelphia/Anaheim SCF. |

I didnt think they would get out of the first round. I honestly thought the penguins were going to be there again. GO HAWKS GO!!!!!! |

I predicted a Philadelphia - Chicago final from the beginning. With Chicago winning the cup in 5. |

With the roster they had in October, no i would not have been one bit surprised that they made it to the finals. With the roster they had to start the playoffs, yes i am very surprised that they made it to the finals. Remember no Carter, Gagne, Emery and Lapiere for much of the playoffs. |
