Sakic just signed a one year contract, so not him, people.

I voted other. I think Forsberg will hang them up this year. He doesn't have anything left to prove, and he's always injured. I think Belfour night be finished, too, but you never know. Gotta keep paying for bail money somehow.

Chelios has said he'd like to play into his 50s.

The way he's playing at 45, it just might be possible.

ive herd that chelios is in better physical condition then most of the young players in thwe league and i think hes got a few more years in him

CANUCKS RULE!!

Chelios is crazy old, but he is still taking 18 min/game and is +7. I wouldn't say his time has come and gone, but there is not much sand left in that hour glass. He'll play another year because I don't think he's smart enough to quit.

I think Roenick will be at the end of the season for sure. Gretzky will give him an office job, maybe even a Asst. Coach. He has been touted around the league as a great mentor for many young players.

Belfour will more than likely at the end of the year as well. The rest of the players on this list will play at least one more season.

Chelios a couple more years? He's 45 years old. He's had more than his fair share of playing time. I don't know if he's chasing 1000 points or something (he's at 934) but his time has come and gone.

Jeremy Roenick. or Marcus Naslund goes back and plays in Sweden.

GO OIL!!! YA!!!

I think Chelios has a couple more years, unless he gets a bad injury, I don't particulary like the Red Wings, but this guy loves the game of hockey and won't quit until he is pretty much forced to.

Hey Canucks Man. Welcome to the community! I'm thinking you're right here, Belfour has got to call it quits soon. I'm surprised he's still playing. I guess as long as he is close to a couple records and there are a couple weak teams in need, he'll keep playing.

What about sakic? He's a classy guy and would go out while he is still on top. Could be him.

Mikhailova Posted - 01/10/2007 : 11:35:18
I said Belfour. Chelios is retirement age too, and so is Hašek.
bablaboushka Posted - 01/10/2007 : 07:38:52
