Nabokov is a starter goalie isn't he? I thought Toskala was the Shark's back up??
The Sharks don't have an official starter/backup format. All season (except when there were injuries), each goalie played every other game. Toskala one night, Nabokov the next and so on... But now Toskala is injured so Nabokov has been playing regularly. When Toskala comes back, I hope Wilson smartens up and plays Toskala as the #1 because I can't possibly understand how it's possible to have a losing record when you play for the Sharks. How can Toskala be 24-9-1 when Nabokov is 14-15-1?
OK thanks for clearing that up Babs

Posted - 03/02/2007 : 18:41:47 I think Chris Mason should be up there cause he gets my vote.
Sure Nabokov might have the most skill but I'll be the first to admit that he's been playing like crap for quite a while now. |

Posted - 03/02/2007 : 16:43:05 I said Bryzgalov. Vokoun's the best but not a backup, as tctitans said. Bryzgalov isn't used that much but when he is he's not bad. Sean Burke would be second.

Posted - 03/02/2007 : 16:42:20 Good poll but try to look up there names on google or NHL.com because there are some spelling errors. I would vote for Evgeni Nabokov because he isn't really that much of a backup and I think that he is the best on the list.

Posted - 03/02/2007 : 16:33:43 Vokoun is the best goalie on the list.. but he certainly is not a backup. Nabokov is a close 2nd, but I wouldnt call him a backup either.. .more like a tandem.. ;)
