Jeremy Roenick has no business in the Hall of Fame.
I hear what you're saying babs but statistically he could very well make it. He's practically a point a game with 1162 points in 1239 games. He's also had 9 All-Star appearances. His biggest problem will be getting the votes because he's pissed off a lot of important people throughout his career. Remember, he's only 36 years old so he could have a couple good rebound years to make an even better case.
As for retirement I think Belfour will say good night very soon.
So what, we induct everyone who finishes with a points-per-game near one? Give me a break. He was good but I don't think he should be remembered as one of the best players ever. |

Posted - 03/03/2007 : 18:44:59 Roenick is next... And by the way... You spelled his name wrong.. it's R-o-e-n-i-c-k, not R-o-b-e-r-t-s. I'm sure it must be a typo, since the thread is named 'Great Player' ;) |

Posted - 03/03/2007 : 16:59:29 I think it's gonna be Belfour. He hasn't played well the last few years and he's got back problems. Roenick would be the next. |
