I hear what you're saying babs but statistically he could very well make it. He's practically a point a game with 1162 points in 1239 games. He's also had 9 All-Star appearances. His biggest problem will be getting the votes because he's pissed off a lot of important people throughout his career. Remember, he's only 36 years old so he could have a couple good rebound years to make an even better case.

As for retirement I think Belfour will say good night very soon.

So what, we induct everyone who finishes with a points-per-game near one? Give me a break. He was good but I don't think he should be remembered as one of the best players ever.

I agree, JR will not be a hall of famer, but I still stand by that brind'amour will retire next because of his cup.

J.R is not a hall of fame player and i think Shanahan because that big collision with Knuble he has a concussion and he is old it will take a while to heal.

GO Sabres GO!!!!!

Roenick is next...
And by the way... You spelled his name wrong.. it's R-o-e-n-i-c-k, not R-o-b-e-r-t-s.
I'm sure it must be a typo, since the thread is named 'Great Player' ;)

I think it's gonna be Belfour. He hasn't played well the last few years and he's got back problems. Roenick would be the next.
