I voted Hull. However I'm actually torn between him and Gretzky. I think Gretzky gets a bum rap when it comes to his goal scoring abilities. It's always said that his play making was better and there were better natural goal scorers but i never understood that. He was as good at scoring goals as anyone if you ask me. I'm sure you are all appropriately shocked. hehehehee
I am not shocked at all willus. I completely agree with what you are saying. I think it is because Gretz made it look so easy why people think that he wasn't a natural goal scorer. Just because he didn't deek out everyone on the ice doesn't mean that he didn't have an eye for the net. It is the same with Brett. They were both shooters, not deekers. I think thats why there is a misconception about Gretzky. |

1CF, just wondering if you could state why you picked Dionne? Not saying that he wasn't a great goal scorer, I'm just curious why you picked him.
It is Brett Hull for me. No one on that list (in my opinion) had a better way of scoring than Hull. His trademark one knee snapshot from the slot found the net almost everytime he shot that puck. I remember closing my eyes EVERYTIME the leafs played whatever team he was on and he got the puck in the slot. Almost a sure goal everytime. |
