Posted - 04/15/2007 : 12:11:20 I put other. It's not just Pronger and Neidermeyer. It's Selanne, Getzlaf, Perry, Kunitz, Penner, Macdonald, Beauchemin and a couple of great goalies with playoff experience. You name it, that team has it. I'm a Pens fan, but the Ducks will win the cup unless Buffalo stops them. |

I've figured it out, the guys gotta play like girls!
nononononononono!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they are the definition of a total team with that coach they got..they play a team game, not an individual game. All system, no flair!
I feel a bit like an idiot, I picked them to go to the finals (cause of the system they play), but I guess I underestimated the importance of actual talent, which the ducks are ripe with....I guess the "new" NHL is really new hahahahahaha... 1-2-2 forecheck teams like the devils and the Wild aren't Guarenteed contenders any more, I should have noticed this with who made it to the finals last year hahahahahahaha....I guess I need to stop living in the past.

Posted - 04/14/2007 : 15:42:02 I think it might be because of the home-ice advantage, but we'll have to wait and see how they do in the next two games.

Posted - 04/14/2007 : 15:30:59 They split their games 2-2 in the regular season. And both teams won their two games at home. So I'm expecting a different outcome back in Minnesota. I agree with you Babs, Minni is a relatively deep team but Anaheim is too strong on defense. Although I thought Minni might have been one of the upset teams, but they would have had to get one of the first two to pull it off. I don't think they'll do it. But I hope they go to 7 so the Ducks are a little more worn. |

Posted - 04/14/2007 : 15:18:48 Anaheim's defense is just too strong. Minnesota is certainly not a one-man team and even saying they are a two-man team is a push (don't forget Mark Parrish, Todd White, Brian Rolston, P-M Bouchard, Mikko Koivu...). They aren't LOADED with offensive talent but Anaheim's defense is completely shutting them out. I still think Minnesota could take their home games but I can't see them winning in Anaheim, even though I predicted and would have liked to see an upset. |

Posted - 04/14/2007 : 10:03:41 Personally I think most teams would have trouble with Anaheim. Minnesota was just the team they happened to be playing.
When life gives you lemons throw them at the Ottawa Senators and their fans and hope it gets them in the eyes ;) |
